Overview and Specifications of Catches and Locks

■ Catches and Locks rating
(The usable range may vary depending on the conditions of use and the type of load.) *Safety standard certification ratings C300: AC-15 0.75A/240V Q300: DC-13 0.27A/250V ■Catches and Locks Performance specifications
| ■ Contact configuration and operating characteristics
Identify the wire core by the color of its insulation and the white line.
Safety Precautions ・ Always turn off the power before installing, removing, wiring, and performing maintenance and inspection. There is a risk of electric shock and fire. ・ If a relay is placed between the safety switch and a load that involves dangerous operation, use a safety relay or other device to duplicate the relay depending on the degree of danger. In the case of a normal relay, safety may be compromised by gluing the contacts. ・ Do not place a programmable controller (PLC) between the safety switch and a load that involves dangerous operation . Safety may be compromised due to a malfunction of the PLC. ・ Never disassemble, modify, or intentionally disable the safety switch, catches and locks. This may cause a breakdown or accident. ・ Install the actuator in a location where it will not come into contact with the body when the door is opened or closed. There is a risk of injury. Precautions for Use ・ Do not use the safety switch or catches and locks as a door stopper, regardless of the type of door. Provide a mechanical door stopper at the end of the door to prevent excessive force from being applied to the safety switch. ・ Do not subject the safety switch and catches and locks to excessive shocks by opening and closing the door roughly, etc. If the safety switch is subjected to an impact of 300 m/s2 ormore, it may break down. - If the safety switch is used in a location with a lot of foreign objects or dust, use a protective cover to prevent foreign objects, dust, etc. from entering the safety switch or catches and locks through the actuator insertion opening. If a large amount of foreign objects, dust, etc. gets into the safety switch, it may affect the mechanical parts and cause a breakdown . - Avoid storing the safety switch in dusty or humid locations, locations where organic gases are present, or locations exposed to direct sunlight . - Operating the safety switch with an actuator other than that designed specifically for the safety switch or catches and locks may cause the switch to be damaged. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
