Product Overview

The locating pin is used for the spatial positioning in the directions of X and Y axes, mainly using the workpiece hole as the positioning benchmark or used in conjunction with bushings, in which the small head spherical type is easy to install, and the spherical part ensures smooth positioning and protects the workpiece on the matching side from damage.

	Symbol * indicates that both tolerances m7 and p7 are applicable. Martensitic stainless steel products have an identification groove on the lead-in part.		Locating pins for circuit boards with shorter B fixed dimension are also available.

Product Features

Feature 1: Standard type with spherical head. Rod diameter tolerance that can be specified for the press-fit part and lead-in part: m7, p7.
Feature 2: The mounting method is press-fit type, which is simple and convenient.
Feature 3: Optional material: iron (alloy tool steel or bearing steel); austenitic stainless steel, martensitic stainless steel, suitable for positioning of various workpieces.
Feature 4: Austenitic stainless steel material and hard chrome plated surface, effectively ensuring anti-rust performance.
Feature 5: The lead-in part of the sphere can make the workpiece lead in by sliding sideways, without damage.

Example introduction: Positioning of plastic frame
①The outer plastic frame, with some portions being thin-walled, is prone to collision and friction with the positioning parts when located on the tooling plate, resulting in damage, deformation, or even breakage of the product.
②The spherical shape of the spherical locating pin ensures that the circuit frame slides smoothly into the specified position without damaging the product.
③The materials of plastic frame products contain fiberglass, and hard-chrome plated spherical locating pins can ensure good abrasion resistance, increasing the service life.
