Product Description
Product Overview
An electric cylinder refers to a device that uses a motor and a screw mechanism to convert rotary motion into linear motion, thereby driving the extension and retraction of a push rod.
Compared to traditional hydraulic and pneumatic devices, it features energy saving, space saving, low noise, pollution-free operation, and low maintenance costs, achieving the goal of overall cost reduction.
The structure of MISUMI electric cylinders consists of an aluminum alloy body, ball screw, and push rod. Machining and installation holes for general-purpose motor brands specified by the customer; motor and optional sensor switch are self-supplied.

*1 The maximum speed is a reference value based on the maximum servo motor speed of 3000 rpm. When the stroke exceeds 300, the speed must be reduced accordingly to avoid resonance.
This product does not include a motor; customers need to purchase the motor separately. When specifying motor code Z, please provide the motor shaft diameter and installation dimensions.
It is recommended to set the motor acceleration/deceleration time to at least 0.2 seconds.
RA0 means the customer will prepare the reducer. Please refer to the 3D drawing to confirm the installation dimensions (standard reducer retained). If not consistent, please provide the gearbox dimensions. A gearbox mounting plate will be included with the shipment.

Usage Method
■ Motor Installation and Timing Belt Adjustment Method
Standard Type Direct Coupling_E-ECTL

1) Open the plastic hole cover and manually rotate the coupling bolt to the position of the round hole in the plastic cover
2) Use a wrench through the round hole to loosen the bolt on the coupling, then tighten it again after installing the motor
3) Finally, put the plastic hole cover back in place to complete the motor installation
Standard Type Parallel_E-ECTL

1) Remove the cover, install the motor, and note that the motor screws should not be tightened yet so that the motor can move up and down
2) Install the timing pulley on the motor side, making sure it is parallel to the timing pulley on the screw shaft end
3) Tighten the screws on the timing pulley and put on the timing belt
4) Adjust the belt tension using the adjustment screw on the main body
5) Use a tension tester to measure the belt tension and ensure it is within the reference range (see table below)
6) Finally, tighten the motor mounting screws to complete the motor installation and timing pulley adjustment

Precautions
■ Precautions for Use
(1) The operating ambient temperature should be normal (—20°C to 40°C). Do not use in environments containing corrosive or flammable gases, electromagnetic interference, or humidity.
(2) The installation surface must be vibration-resistant and able to withstand pressure. The flatness requirement is within ±0.05 mm/500 mm.
(3) When the electric cylinder is installed vertically, a motor with a brake device must be selected.
(4) Prevent the electric cylinder from being subjected to vibration or impact. The operating conditions must ensure that the push rod avoids rotation and prevent deformation of the cylinder body.
