About the Maximum Allowable Temperature
The maximum allowable temperature for the product is between -20°C and +95°C, governed by the maximum allowable temperatures for housing and tin plated contact. It is calculated by the following formula, adding the temperature rise due to used current for the contact part and the ambient temperature due to the operating environment. Maximum temperature limit = temperature rise + ambient temperature, where the temperature rise for each wire is 30°C. Select wire size, type, and current value from Figure 1. For instance, if the ambient temperature is 20°C , then the current is allowable until the temperature reaches 50°C. Note that the current capacity decreases as the number of cores increases because the rate of temperature rise increases accordingly. Please be careful.
