To use the Maxstar wedge belt more effectively, the bushing system was adopted to standardize the pulley. Easy to install and remove on the shaft with just one wrench. The bushing system can also be horizontally deployed to couplings, gears, sprocket wheels, and more.

a: Insert the bushing along the keyway. Safely and reliably transmits torque.
b: Utilizing the taper provides a strong fit.
c: Securely attaches to the pulley with tightening bolts.
d: Adding a slot allows the shaft to be tightened more firmly.
e: Removing the bushing pulley from the shaft can be easily done by moving the tightening bolt to the tapped hole.

- 1.First, perform a simple clearance fit.
- 2.By tightening the tightening bolt, the same effect as an interference fit can be achieved.

There is no need for the various processing steps required in methods such as shaft hole processing; by tightening the tightening bolt with a clearance fit, the same effect as an interference fit can be obtained.
Mounting method from the shaft

Insert the bushing into the pulley and loosely thread the bolt by hand.

Mount the bushing pulley onto the shaft.
(The fit is smooth.)

Using a torque wrench, securely tighten the tightening bolt.
(This will achieve a complete fit.)
- 1. The tightening torque for the bolts should follow the table below.
- 2. When tightening the bolts, tighten them evenly to avoid uneven tightening.
- 3. Wear protective equipment such as gloves when installing or removing parts.

How to Remove from the Shaft

Remove the tightening bolt.

Thread the bolt into the removal tap on the flange section.

Remove the bushing pulley from the shaft.
