Product features details
Advantages of use 1
- Safe and secure because it is only for food
- Can be used for vacuuming and pumping
- High oil resistance and long service lifespan for oily foods
* Mineral oil can also be used - The hose is resistant to bending and crushing, featuring good resilience and good transport efficiency
- Prevents production troubles by making it difficult for the fluid to stop due to breakage or crushing
Advantages of use 2
- The reinforcing material is a special PET resin, so there is no need to worry about rusting and separate disposal is unnecessary
- Easy to cut with scissors, excellent installability
- High transparency allows you to check fluids such as food for peace of mind
- With a heat resistance of 70°C, it can be used in a wider range than general PVC hoses
Compliant with laws and regulations to ensure safe and secure.
- Compliant with the Food Sanitation Act of Japan (Compliant with Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Public Notification No. 201 in 2006, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Public Notification No. 267 in 2002, Ministry of Health and Welfare Public Notification No. 52 in 1951)
- Compliant with revised RoHS2 regulations.
* This hose does not use phthalate plasticizers.
Improved productivity and safety with dedicated fittings.
- Structure with very little liquid pooling. Dedicated fittings can reduce disassembly and cleaning work of food hose piping
- Various types of dedicated fittings are easy to install, prevent fluid leakage and hose disconnection for safe and secure.
Cautions/prohibitions
Precautions Before and During Use of Hose
1. Usable fluids are water, drinking water, food, air, chemicals and powders. * Do not use it for fuel oil (heavy oil, light oil, kerosene, gasoline, etc.) or solvent oil.
2. If the fluid remains in the hose, the resin odor may be transferred to the contents and may cause discomfort, so please check before use.
3. Wash the inside of the hose before using it for drinking water or food. (Wash with hot water (80°C or less) up to 30 minutes, pressure 0.1 MPa or less.)
4. Please use within the operating temperature range of -5 to 70°C. Decompression deformation temperature is the temperature at which a hose deforms when it is straight and the pressure inside the pipe is reduced to -0.1 MPa (-760 mmHg).
It is not the usable limit temperature.
5. Use the hose within the operating pressure range. * -0.1 MPa is an approximation. Depending on the application and conditions (temperature and movement), it may not be possible to use the hose under negative pressure.
Please refer to the Digital Catalog as a guideline for the negative pressure range.
6. Depending on the usage conditions of the hose, compounding agents such as plasticizers may be extracted or eluted, so please check the usage conditions and the effect on the product before use.
7. Use the hose with a minimum bending radius or more. If used below the minimum bending radius, the hose may bend, or the pressure resistance may decrease.
8. Do not immerse the hose surface or fittings directly in the liquid (food, chemicals, etc.) in the tank.
Fluid may permeate the hose reinforcement layer or remain in the fitting, causing the growth (adherence) of bacteria and deterioration of the hose.
9. Depending on the conditions, the hose may be prone to abrade when powder or granules, etc., are passed through it, so please make the bend radius of the hose as large as possible.
10. Do not touch or bring close to naked flames.
11. Hose lifespan is greatly affected by fluid physical properties, temperature, flow velocity, and the frequency of pressurization and depressurization. If any of the following abnormalities or signs are found during the pre-operation inspection or regular inspection, immediately stop using the hose and replace it with a new hose.
·Abnormalities near the metal brackets:: Local stretch, curvature, leakage, blistering, and shallow insertion into the nipple.
·Presence or absence of damage:: Large scratches and cracks on the outer surface, and immersion into the reinforcement layer
·Internal abnormalities:: Internal blistering and peeling/abrasion (Exposure of hose reinforcements)
*If there is an abnormality on the inner or outer surface, flakes from the hose or pieces of the reinforcing material may be mixed in the fluid.
·If there are other significant changes (Hardening, swelling, cracking, blistering, discoloration of reinforcing layer, etc.)
Cautions/prohibitions
1. Do not store outdoors or in direct sunlight. This may cause quality deterioration such as stickiness and cracks on the hose surface. Store in a well-ventilated place with low humidity.
Do not allow contaminants or dust to enter the hose.
2. When storing, avoid contact with other PVC products and do not store near rubber products.
Cautions/prohibitions
1. Do not incinerate. Burning the product may damage the incinerator or produce gas harmful to the human body. Please handle it as industrial waste.
2. When disposing of the product, please follow the separate disposal procedures of each region.
Cautions/prohibitions
1. It is recommended to use the Toyox's dedicated fitting, TOYOCONNECTOR, for the TOYORING-F hose. If you use a fitting other than the dedicated one or install it in a way that is different from the instruction manual, the performance of the hose may deteriorate.
2. Use a hose nipple ideal for the hose size. Also, do not use nipples with scratches or rust, etc., on the surface.
3. Be careful when cutting the hose, as there is a risk of injury from the end of the reinforcing material.
4. Do not over-tighten steel wires, etc., as that may cut the inner and outer surfaces of the hose and cause the hose to burst.
5. Retighten the hose clamp appropriately. There is a risk of fluid leakage or hose disconnection due to distortion of the resin at the clamp tightening part.
6. Do not use one-push metal brackets for tubes. It may cause the hose to burst.
7. The pressure resistance strength described in this catalog is based on the data obtained by performing a pressure test on a single hose using Toyox's original test method. Problems such as hose disconnection may occur before hose bursts depending on the conditions of metal brackets
(the shape of the hose nipple, the type of hose clamps, the number of hose clamps, tightening torque, crimping shape, etc.). Therefore, for customers, when setting metal brackets on hoses, please choose a safe and effective method.
For technical inquiries regarding setting of metal brackets, etc., please contact the Toyox customer service center.
