Self-Aligning Thrust Roller Bearing

Caution
Product Description
The roller bearing has a self-aligning property and uses barrel-shaped rollers as rolling elements.
[Features]
·The spherical bearing raceway of the housing race disc and the center shaft of the bearing share the same center point.
·Has a large load capacity for axial load.
·While being under an axial load, a certain level of radial load can also be applied.
·The retainer is a machined copper alloy retainer and has a guiding sleeve attached on the inner race, which guides the retainer.
·Lubrication is necessary even for rotation at a low speed.
[Application]
·Ideal for areas subject to large axial loads, machine tools, construction machinery, etc.

Product features details
Similar to self-aligning roller bearings, the thrust self-aligning roller bearing has a spherical raceway on the housing race disc that shares the same center point with the center shaft of the bearing, and the rolling elements are barrel-shaped rollers that enable the bearing to self-align. Although the allowable alignment angle varies depending on the bearing dimension series, it is typically 1° to 2° under normal load.
The retainer is a machined copper alloy retainer and has a guiding sleeve attached on the inner race, which guides the retainer. While being under an axial load and if the axial load is large, a certain level of radial load can also be applied. It should be used under the condition of Fr/Fa ≤ 0.55.
In addition, the bearing requires lubrication even for rotation at a low speed because there are areas where lubricant cannot easily spread such as the edge of the rollers, the flange of the axial load disc, and between the retainer and the guiding sleeve.
