Positioning is engaged by the nose.

Nose retracts when knob is pulled.

When the knob is rotated 90°, the nose locks in the rest position.

Features of the plunger

Hand-operated indexing plunger where nose retracts when knob is pulled, making it easy to release positioning, and when hand is released, nose returns to its original position due to built-in spring.
The nose lock type can be locked (fixed) in the retracted position by pulling the knob and rotating it 90 degrees.

When using the indexing plunger fully threaded into the plate, chamfer the tapped hole on the plate side.
