Precision Shaft Coupling - Correction Type UA-C Series

Product Description
[Features]
·High-rigidity body and double-bolt clamp specifications make it suitable for high-precision, high-response control.
· The pins placed like a cross on the center block and the metal that holds them on the hub arms slide and rotate freely to absorb eccentricity and angular misalignment at the same time. The clearance between the pin and the metal is as small as a few μm, enabling high-precision rotation transmission.
· The support reaction force generated when absorbing the misalignment is minimal due to the compensating structure in which the pin and metal part slide and rotate freely without any flexible material. In addition, the torsional rigidity is 1.5 to 2 times that of the leaf spring type, improving the control response of automatic equipment using servo motors, pulse motors, etc.
·Due to the unique damping property and high torsional rigidity of the correction type, the vibration of the drive unit is difficult to transmit to the driven part, so it is effective as a vibration countermeasure for the mounting equipment.
·Support reaction force is extremely small, so installation is easy.

- UA-55C is a semi-standard product.
- The allowable torque is for a rotational speed of 1,500r/min.
- The maximum torque is the torque that can be instantaneously transmitted when starting and braking.
- The allowable thrust load refers to the static allowable load when the load torque is zero.
- Insert the mounting shaft securely up to the J dimension. In the case of a non-through hole diameter, the insertion dimension of the mounting shaft must not protrude beyond the J dimension.
- Moment of inertia and weight are for the case with the largest shaft hole diameter.
- The recommended shaft tolerance is h6.
Selection Support Information
(1) From the performance table, select a part number that has an allowable torque greater than the equivalent torque calculated by the formula below.

- The correction coefficient is determined by multiplying each coefficient (K1 to K3) in Tables 1 to 3.
K = K1 x K2 x K3 - If forward/reverse rotation, starting/stopping, and shifting are frequently repeated, the value obtained by multiplying the starting torque by the correction factor shall be taken as the equivalent torque.
