Turning the knob slides the stopper plate horizontally to lock it.
The airtight type moves 4 mm when the knob is pulled. Shield effects can be obtained.

The stopper plate slides horizontally by turning the knob, etc. and locks. With the airtight type, pulling down the knob pulls it 4‑mm forward, creating a shield effect. (CP-315-A/AN/E/EN)
Choice of 4 types to fit application; airtight type, knob type, coin type and type with lock. 2 types of mounting: clip locking or nut locking (N).
Right opening / left opening (CP-315-A/AN), left-hand and right-hand use (CP-315-B/BN/CN/D/DN) types available.
