Usage Example
Mounting and Usage
- 1. If the pressure in the pneumatic circuit drops, the gripping force will decrease and the workpiece may fall. To prevent personal injury or equipment damage, please install a fall prevention device.
- 2. Do not use the air gripper if excessive acceleration or impact is applied.
- 3. Since the single-acting type grips using a spring, please consult us before use.
- 4. When mounting and fixing the air gripper, please be careful not to drop or bump the air gripper to avoid damaging it.
- 5. When fixing the finger metal fitting, be sure to fix it without bending the finger.
- 6. There are several ways to install the finger. Please tighten within the maximum tightening torque range specified below. Over-tightening may cause malfunction, while insufficient tightening torque may result in misalignment or falling.

- 7. Method for attaching the finger metal fitting: When attaching the finger metal fitting, use a wrench or similar tool to tighten the screw so that the finger does not become loose. Do not tighten the screws while clamping the main body, as this may cause damage to the components. Absolutely avoid doing this.

- 8. Make sure that no external force is applied to the finger. If a lateral load is applied to the finger, it may cause impact loads, resulting in finger oscillation or damage. Please ensure there is a gap so that the workpiece and metal fitting do not collide with the air gripper's stroke end.
8.1. Stroke end at the fully open finger position

8.2. Finger opening and closing stroke

8.3. In the reverse operation state, if there is no gap, when the gripping point of the workpiece rotates in the reverse direction, there is a risk that the workpiece will interfere with surrounding objects and cause impact load.

- 9. If the finger deviates from the coaxial alignment with the center line during the workpiece insertion operation, it will not operate properly. When performing tests, always set the operation to manual and lower the operating pressure to ensure safety and confirm that there are no impacts or other hazards.

- 10. Adjust the opening and closing speed of the finger so that it does not become excessively fast.
- 11. Make sure that no part of your body enters the gaps or operation range of the air gripper, and do not place any other objects there.
- 12. When removing the air gripper, make sure that there is no workpiece, then release the compressed air before removing it.
