Features
- The spiral wound gasket uses inorganic paper tape, Vulcafoil (expanded graphite) tape, or Valflon (PTFE) tape as filler materials. It is a spiral wound gasket with excellent elasticity provided by a V-shaped pre-formed hoop.
- Ideal as a gasket for the joint surfaces of various equipment such as pipe flanges, heat exchangers, towers and tanks, and valve bonnets that handle high-temperature and high-pressure fluids in industries such as petroleum refining, chemical, electric power, gas, and marine.
- Compatible fluids: water, seawater, hot water, steam, crude oil, alcohol, animal and vegetable oils, general solvents, weak acids, weak alkalis, strong acids, air, nitrogen gas, inert gas, exhaust gas, combustible gas, toxic gas, oxygen, cryogenic fluids, etc.
- Unsuitable fluids: high-temperature strong alkalis, heating medium oils.
