Swivel Joint JR-DC Series (Rotary Joint)

Caution
Product Description
For piping of civil engineering and construction machinery, machine tools, and general hydraulic machinery that use mineral hydraulic oil.
[Features]
·The high pressure hose can be connected in any direction, simplifying piping and reducing installation time.
·It helps bend the hose, thus saving the length of the hose and preventing sharp bending from the joint.
·Different types of swivel joint threads are available according to the standards of the high pressure hose fittings.
·This joint can easily rotate 360 degrees even when the swivel joint is pressurized by fluid pressure applied to the piping and high pressure hose.
·It is designed to be compact, so it is lightweight.
·It is designed to minimize pressure loss.
·It is designed to be dust-proof and rust preventive, so it can be used in a wide range of applications such as construction machinery and industrial vehicles.

Product Feature Details
JIS pressure waveform (ISO pressure waveform)

*: The impact pressure is the maximum operating pressure x 1.33.
In case of jack waveform, impact pressure = maximum operating pressure.
- The JL series has passed the JIS pressure waveform (ISO pressure waveform) (impact pressure = maximum operating pressure x 1.33) impulse test 400,000 times.
- Simultaneously with the impulse test, an oscillation test (oscillation angle of 120°, oscillation speed of 15 c.pm) was conducted, and has been cleared 100,000 times.
- JR series has passed 100,000 revolutions in the enclosed maximum operating pressure rotation test (rotational speed: 100 r.p.m).
Cautions and Prohibitions
Piping (installation) Instructions
Note 1: Avoid piping (installation) that causes an offset.
Mounting with an offset will apply excessive force (unbalanced load) to the swivel joint and cause damage.

Swivel joints should be installed on the same plane (offset 0 mm), but if an offset is unavoidable in the piping, use the above values as a guideline for limits. If exceeding the values, please review the piping itself.
Note 2: Do not install the hose in a straight line, and secure an appropriate hose length.
Since the length of the hose changes when pressurized, straight piping will apply excessive force (unbalanced load) to the swivel joint when pressurized.

Note 3: When installing the swivel joint, fix the shaft side and rotate the housing side.

Note 4: As shown in Figure (B) below, avoid piping that applies excessive force (unbalanced load) to the rotation of the swivel joint. As shown in the figure (A) below, pipe along the line perpendicular to the fixed side.

Note 5: Do not connect the swivel joints with each other.

Observe the tightening torque (listed below) and tighten properly.
Improper tightening can make it difficult to achieve good sealing, which may lead to fluid leakage and damage to the connections, etc., which is dangerous.
