Jaws (for Inner Diameter Clamping) (CP127)

Caution
Product Description
The wedge of the expansion bolt spreads the base in 8 directions, securely clamping the workpiece, and it can handle a wide variety of irregularly shaped workpieces. With a clamping stroke of 0.3 mm in diameter, it is suitable for lost wax, die-cast, extruded materials, drawn materials, pre-processed workpieces, etc. [Applications]·Inner diameter clamp base for CP125

Usage Example
(1) Mounting the die (for inner diameter clamp)

· Install the o-ring into the groove on the top surface of the form clamp.
· Set the die so that the straight pin fits into the positioning hole of the die, and secure it with the expansion bolt (for inner diameter clamp).
Note: When mounting the die, make sure the cam shaft is fully loosened (turned counterclockwise until it stops).
(2) Self-cutting the die

2-1. Measure the diameter of the self-cutting section with the cam shaft fully loosened. Then, tighten and fix the cam shaft so that the processed section expands by 0.3 mm in diameter.

2-2. Self-cut the jaws to match the shape of the workpiece.
(Please perform self-cutting of the jaws within the allowable self-cutting range.)
(3) Setting the workpiece

After self-cutting, loosen the cam shaft, set the workpiece, then turn the cam shaft again to clamp it.
Product Feature Details
- The wedge of the expansion bolt spreads the jaws in eight directions, securely clamping the workpiece and accommodating a wide variety of irregularly shaped workpieces.
- The clamping stroke is 0.3 mm in diameter. Suitable for lost wax, die-cast, extruded material, drawn material, and pre-processed workpieces.

(1) When the cam shaft is tightened, the expansion bolt is retracted.
(2) At the same time, the jaws expand outward in eight directions from the center, clamping the inner shape of the workpiece.

Cautions and Prohibitions
- To prevent damage and deformation, do not perform tightening without the workpiece. In addition, tightening beyond the allowable tightening torque will significantly reduce the durability of the jaws.
