Property and performance information / test information
Tensile test
| Nominal Diameter | 1/2 | 3/4 |
|---|---|---|
| Standard value | 1000 N | 1900 N |
| Results | 2600 N | 4100 N |
Method After a pipe of appropriate length is joined to both ends of the pipe fitting, pull it and measure the joint shedding load, which shall be greater than the standard value.
Pressure resistant test
| Nominal Diameter | 1/2 | 3/4 |
|---|---|---|
| pressure | 2.5 MPa | |
| Retention time | 2 minutes | |
| Results | No leaks, destruction or other abnormalities | |
Method Apply water pressure of 2.5 MPa to the pipe fitting to check for leaks, destruction, or other abnormalities.
The retention time is 2 minutes.
Operating temperature and pressure
| Temperature | Working pressure limit |
|---|---|
| Up to 30°C | 1.6 MPa |
| Up to 65°C | 1.0 MPa |
| Up to 95°C | 0.6 MPa |
Method The working pressure is the data that confirms the basic performance of the pipe fitting, so please refer to the table on the right for actual use.
Construction procedure

Cutting
Cut the copper pipe at a right angle with a pipe cutter.

Marking
Mark the joining depth for each nominal diameter on the outer surface of the copper pipe.
| Nominal Diameter | 1/2 | 3/4 | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Joining depth | 23 | 27 | mm |

Edge chamfering
Chamfer the inside and outside surfaces using a reamer or similar tool.
* Be sure to remove burrs as they may cause damage to the O-ring.

Connection
Insert the copper tube until it clicks into place, and make sure that the marking part does not change from the end of the fitting when the copper pipe is pulled.
After completing the construction of the pipeline, carry out a water pressure testing to confirm that there is no water leakage.

Ellipse correction
Correct the ellipse at the end of the pipe.
* The ellipse is not included in the tech marking.
