Attachment

Attachment method 1: Align the arrows so that they match each other
Insert each of the piping modules by matching the arrows on the lock ring and the body or stud of the other module. If you are having difficulty attaching the modules, rotate them a little to the left and right while pushing in. The modules will not remain attached if the arrows have not been properly aligned and will be ejected when any pressure is applied. Do not rotate or alter the lock ring before attaching. If you do rotate the lock ring before attachment, the internal parts (spring, spring guide) may fall out.

Attachment method 2: Do not touch the lock ring
After attaching, rotate the piping modules to the left or right, or pull on them to make sure they are securely attached. However, be careful not to touch the lock ring in the process of doing this. Touching the lock ring may cause it to unlock.
Removal Method

Removal method 1: Rotate the lock ring 90°. Hold in this position.
Be sure to release the pressure inside the piping before removing. If unlocked while still pressurized, the piping modules may be forcibly ejected. Turn the lock ring 90° in the direction indicated by the arrow. This will release the lock. The lock ring will automatically hold this position, so you don't need to hold it in place by hand.

Removal method 2: Do not touch the lock ring.
Unlike with attachment, simply pull the piping modules to remove them. Be careful not to touch the lock ring in the process of doing this. If you do touch the lock ring, it may lock again and you will not be able to remove them. Once removed, the lock spring will automatically counter rotate 90° back to its original position via the action of its built-in spring.
Caution
- Do not apply a bend to the piping modules if using them while connected. This could result in deformation or damage of the piping. Also, be sure to use the KBX bracket for connections of 5 stations or more. Failure to use the bracket may cause the piping to become deformed due to bending or deflection.
- Each of the piping modules can be connected to other modules as long as they have the same body size.
- When attaching female connector union and female connector elbow union, use the body's hexagonal surface and tighten with a suitable wrench. Use the root nearest the thread when tightening with a wrench. The hexagonal surface may become damaged if the wrench is not an appropriate size for it.
