Product Description
A vacuum/release module that does not require a restrictor circuit for release air.
[Features]
· Response speed 13 msec (at 500 mm*).
· 18.5 msec (at 1,000 mm*).
*Distance from module to the workpiece.
· Smooth detachment of workpieces without over-shoot.
· No workpiece blowout caused by release air.
· No need to adjust the timing when switching between vacuum and positive pressure (single signal control).
· N.O. specification (vacuum adhesion type when not energized) and N.C. specification (vacuum shut-off type when not energized) can be selected.

Working Principle (N.O. Specifications)

When not energized (vacuum suction)
Two solenoid valves are de-energized simultaneously.
Release air is charged while the workpiece is being held.

When energized (release → shut-off)
Two solenoid valves are energized simultaneously.
The release air is discharged, the pressure matches that of the atmosphere, and the workpiece is smoothly released.

Manual Operation

VQD1151W-□ (for switching)
· Non-locking push type (tool required)
If pressed until it reaches the direction of the arrow (approx. 0.5 mm) it will turn ON. Release to turn OFF.
*If using manual operation, connected devices will operate. Check for dangers before proceeding.
Wiring Specifications

10-VQ110-□-X46 (for release air charging)
The figure shows the VQD1151W (energy-saving type). Current consumption when holding is reduced by the circuit, helping save power.
Using the Plug Connector
- To attach a connector, hold the lever and connector unit between your fingers and insert straight into the pins. Push the claw of the lever into the groove in the cover to lock.
- To detach a connector, remove the claw from the groove by pushing down the lever with your thumb and then pull the connector straight out.
