About allowable current
The allowable current value is the calculated value when the ambient temperature is 30°C and a single cable is laid in the air. It is not a guaranteed value.
For ambient temperatures above 30℃, multiply the values in the table by the following current reduction factors:
The allowable current value is a value calculated according to JCS0168 and is not a guaranteed value.
In Europe, there is a standard regarding the allowable current of wiring systems for electrical installations of buildings, "IEC 60364-5-52 (Electrical installations of buildings-Part 5-52: Selection and erection of electrical equipment - Wiring systems)," so please refer to it.
JCS0168: The Japanese Electric Wire & Cable Makers' Association standard "Calculation of allowable current for power cable of 33 kV or less"
Current Reduction Factor
| Ambient temperature (℃) | 30 | 35 | 40 | 45 | 50 | 55 | 60 | 65 | 70 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current Reduction Factor | 1.00 | 0.94 | 0.88 | 0.82 | 0.75 | 0.67 | 0.58 | 0.47 | 0.33 |
Cable Termination of Braided Conductors

A conductor reinforcement yarn is inserted in the center of the braided conductor. For conductor reinforcement after cable termination processing, do not remove this reinforcement yarn during cable termination processing; process it as is.
Cut: Instantly cut using sharp scissors. (The reinforcement yarn cannot be completely cut with nippers or similar tools.)
Cable Termination Method
Crimp Terminal Method: Do not remove the reinforcement yarn; secure it as is with a crimp terminal.
Soldering Method: Do not remove the reinforcement yarn; solder it as is. (The reinforcement yarn is heat-resistant, so it will not melt or shrink.)
*This product uses a braided conductor, resulting in a larger outer diameter than standard conductors.
Please check the conductor outer diameter and other specifications when processing, such as when using crimp terminals.
Wire Core Identification
| Number of wire cores | Wire Core Identification Method |
|---|---|
| 4 contacts or less | Insulator coloring method (in the order of black, white, red, green) |
| 5 or more | Numbering method (1, 2, 3, 4: are displayed continuously on the surface of the black insulator surface) |
