It is a micro-USB connector compatible with the USB 2.0 standard. HIROSE ELECTRIC CO., LTD. leads the standardization and has a wide variety of product variations.

·Supports high-speed transmission (USB 2.0): Compared to the mini USB connector, it achieves a volume ratio of approx. 60% and is ideal for external connection of small devices such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and portable music players.
·It supports USB 2.0 hi-speed (480 Mbps) high-speed transmission.
·Receptacle variation: The receptacle has all 2 types of key shapes (micro-B, micro-AB), and you can choose from standard type, reverse type, and mid mount type according to the mounting form.
·There are also some items which have a dip with enhanced drop impact resistance.
·Plug variation: The plug has all 2 types of key shapes (micro-A, micro-B), and has a hand soldering type and a circuit-board mount type depending on the mounting form.
·Since the volume is suppressed as much as possible, it can contribute to the degree of freedom in overmold design.
