Push-on Bayonet Lock Miniature Waterproof Circular Connector, HR34B Series

Caution
Product Description
This is an I/O connector for servo motor signals. It has excellent seismic resistance, is waterproof, and is easily removable, so it can also be used for an extensive array of other applications.
[Features]
• Waterproof structure: Uses an IP67 mechanism (during mating) with superior oil resistance.
• In addition, the 4 wire receptacles are waterproof as standalone units.
• Excellent mating and operability: Simply push in the plug and mating is complete.
• Rotate the sleep during mating to unlock.
• The mating position display makes aligning mating time and position easy.
• Blind mating can be carried out using the 3-position mating guide key (due to the structure of the plug connector, there is no risk of damaging the receptacle terminal).
• Cable pulling direction is selectable: The right angle plug provides 8 selectable directions in 45° intervals for cable pull direction.
• Safety Standards: 4-core items correspond to TUV standards.

Connector Handling

1. Mating:
Holding the plug by the outer shell (A) align the arrow on the plug with the alignment mark on the receptacle and push straight in.

2. Un-mating:
Rotate the sleeve (B) counter-clockwise as shown in the diagram to a full stop and then pull out to un-mate the plug from the receptacle.
Product Usage Precautions

When completely mated and locked, the alignment arrow on the plug must line-up with the center line of the connector (alignment mark on the receptacle) as shown in the diagram above.
If the alignment arrow and the center line of the connectors are not aligned (1 mm max.) re-insert the plug until they are aligned.
- 1. Make sure the power is off before mating or un-mating the connector.
- 2. To insert the connector, push it in until the arrow tip of the plug mating mark indicates the specified position of the diagram above (i.e., the mating mark of the receptacle.)
- 3. Note that the display method of the mating mark will differ depending on the receptacle.
- 4. To maintain its waterproof properties and cable clamp force, use a cable that is within the range of the applicable cable diameter. Because the performance will differ depending on the cable structure, make sure to check all specifications of the cable assembly before use or production.
- 5. Consult Hirose Electric Sales for harness assembly procedure.
