Precautions
- Impurities or dirt adhering to the sensor surface during use may reduce accuracy. For this reason, yearly calibration is recommended.
- Prolonged exposure to environments with a humidity of 80% RH or higher may offset the humidity measurement values. If this occurs, please leave the device in a location with normal temperature and humidity for at least 1 day.
- Condensation may form if the device is suddenly moved between environments with extreme temperature differences. If the device is used while condensation has formed, it may not be able to accurately measure humidity. If the device becomes wet due to condensation, allow to dry in a normal-temperature environment before using.
- Using the device for prolonged periods of time in conditions at or below -20°C, or 90% RH or higher may result in accelerated deterioration of the sensor.
- In order to prevent deterioration of the measuring element, avoid long-term storage in high-temperature, high-humidity environments.
- Do not use in environments where organic chemicals are sprayed or may splash.
