A punch is a scribing tool for making hollows in metal materials. Used to prevent the tip of the drill from escaping when drilling with a drill press, etc. The tip has a conical shape like a pencil lead, and a high-hardness carbide tip is used for the material. Many grips are designed to be easy to grasp, making it easy to work repeatedly. There are two types: a punch that hits the rear end of the punch with a hammer to form a recess, and an auto punch that does not require a hammer using the force of a spring. The latter is easily recessed simply by pressing, and can be operated with one hand. Some of them can adjust the driving force by turning a screw or cap. When the work is performed, use the scriber etc. together to mark the exact position, then apply it vertically to the position where you want to make a depression, and hit with the force suitable for the material.
