Reamer Recommended Cutting Conditions
Carbide Reamer / Reamer with Carbide Bottom Blade Recommended Cutting Conditions Table
SEC-HR / SEC-HSPR / SEC-HP-SPR / TSC-XHR / CHR / CHRL
The above are the cutting conditions for the SEC-HR (straight blade). The SEC-HSPR and SEC-HP-SPR (helical flute) can process with the above cutting conditions increased by 30 to 50%.
For the High Accuracy Type CHR-HP and CHRL-HP, Neck Relief Type CHRZ and CHRLZ, and High Accuracy Neck Relief Type CHRZ-HP and CHRLZ-HP, refer to the above conditions and process similarly.
Be sure to use cutting oil. In particular, during deep hole drilling, continuously supply sufficient amounts of cutting oil to the machined section.
The above cutting conditions are recommended values. So optimize these within the range ±30% for use.
Use a machine and chuck that have rigidity and high accuracy.

For the High Accuracy Type SEC-HP-RMS□□, Long Type SEC-RMS□□L, and Neck Relief Type SEC-RMS□□Z, refer to the conditions above for the standard type and process similarly.
The above are cutting conditions for the SEC-ECHR (straight blade). The SEC-ECSPHR (helical flute) can process with the above conditions increased by 30 to 50%.

* Cautions in Setting Cutting Conditions
1. Cutting speed is determined based on standard cutting conditions. However, when the runout accuracy of the holder (shrink-fit holders are recommended) and machining center spindle are high, cut at slightly higher conditions.
2. Stable cutting is possible when the finishing allowance is set within 1/3 or higher of the C chamfer section of the boring end mill tip.
