Why Do You Need Coating Punch?

Coating punch has higher resistance to following conditions and extends tool life.

STEEL PLATE TOOL
- Requirements for Punch -

Life Expectancy	High (1-20M)
SPM	High (100-2,000 times/m)

STAMPING CONDITION

Fine blanking requires less clearance, which increases friction between punch and die.

In order to prevent scrap lifting, pushing depth of the punch needs to be increased which has more chance to wear punch surface.

DIE CASTING TOOL
- Requirements for Punch -

Life Expectancy	High (0.5L-0.3M)
SPM	High (10-30times/m)

STAMPING CONDITION

Due to the trend of lightweight car body and high strength of the material, High tensile sheet metal is selected which will increase wear of the punch.
